In this article, we'll walk you through the process of adding a store to Dashna and connecting it to Walmart Marketplace and Walmart Connect. By following these steps, we'll be able to access your store’s sales and advertising data.
Creating an API Key
-
-
Log in to your Seller Center account using a user with Admin privileges.
-
Click the + Add New Key For A Solution Provider button and select SellCord from the dropdown and click Next
-
On the Key Permissions page, change the options to reflect the image, then click Submit
-
Once complete, a pop-up will indicate that the key has been added. Find SellCord on the list of keys, unhide the Client Secret. Now you will be able to copy both the Client ID and the Client Secret
-
Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from the previous step and paste them into their respective fields.
-
Click Update to save your credentials to Dashna and to begin the syncing process.
Connect your Walmart Connect Account
- If you do not see the Advertiser Id field under your store details click Add New Advertisement ID.
- Then go to https://advertising.walmart.com/sp/view/admin
- Sign in to the Ad Center with an Admin account, as admin privileges are required to access this page.
- Find the section labeled API Partner - Advertiser level and click the +Add partner link.
-
Choose SellCord from the API Partner name dropdown, Write access as the Access type and click Add partner. You should now see Sellcord listed as an API partner.
Occasionally there can be a glitch in the system and the access does not get saved. Please refresh the page and verify that SellCord is listed in the API Partner section.
-
In the Admin page, scroll to the top of the page to the Advertiser section. There the Advertiser ID will be listed. Copy the ID
-
- Enter the Advertiser ID and click Update. If your store is saved correctly, the light in the right of the field will turn green after the page is refreshed.
Congrats! You have successfully connected Dashna to your Walmart accounts! It can take up to 48 hours for all the data to come in, depending on the size of the account.
